Reading: We are now working on our new unit and began a new book titled Freak the Mighty
Writing: We are launching our new writing unit that goes along with our reading for persuasive writing.
Math: We are working on multiplying and dividing fractions, as well as the relationships of fractions to decimals. We are also reviewing how to use a protractor, and use it to measure and construct angles.
There is a trip Wednesday April 20th to Ellis Island. The trip is $10.00. Please send in your trip slip and money ASAP.

***Because we have the Math NYS Exam this week Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, there will be no spelling words for the week.

Math: We are working on multiplying and dividing fractions, as well as the relationships of fractions to decimals. Also, we will be reviewing how to use a protractor.

There is no homework this week. The children have the ELA state exam Tuesday April 5th, Wednesday April 6th, and Thursday April 7th.

• Please remind your child to get a good night’s rest, wake up on time for school, and have a nutritious breakfast before coming to school.

• The students are allowed to have a book in their desks to read when they are done with their test. They are to have it inside their desk, and out of their backpacks to ensure that there are no disruptions for the other students who are testing.
