Weekly Homework- Due Friday, May 20th
Reading: Read for 15 minutes and record on log.
Writing: Answer this question in your homework notebook once: Sequence events in the story or chapter you read. Why is it important to sequence? Math: No exemplar this week, Test Wednesday
Spelling: Choose ONE (or more)
-ABC order
-Choose 5 spelling words and create a sentence for each
-Menu Activity

During the week of May 16th the students will be reading the non-fiction book called, “From Seed to Plant”. The children will be predicting and sequencing textual information. For writing, the students are going to be focusing on the components of writing a “How-To” writing piece. They will begin their planning pages for their first draft of their “How-To” writing piece. In math, the students will be focusing on numbers to 1,000. They will be sorting out place-value, ordering numbers, and comparing different numbers. There will be a test on Wednesday, May 18th. Spelling: Week #26- Vowel Clusters: /ier/
