Weekly Homework- Due Friday, April 8th
Reading: Read for 15 minutes and record on log.
Writing: Answer this question in your homework notebook once: What is the problem in your story/chapter? What is the solution? If there is no solution in your chapter, predict what the solution will be. Math: Exemplar

-Choose 5 spelling words and create a sentence for each

During the week of April 4th the students will continue to read the book, “Dear Mrs. LaRue”. We will be studying the different text features of persuasive letters. The children will be identifying what is being persuaded using different examples of letters. We will analyze problems and solution through different texts. For writing, the children will be continuing their first draft of their persuasive letter, making sure to add different transition words through their letter. In math, we are reviewing “Book B” chapters 10-15. Spelling: Week #21- Common Suffixes: “tion”, “sion”, “cian”
