Reading- We will begin to read articles from different sources that have opinions. Students will be able to distinguish between fact and opinion based on these articles and will discuss their own opinions based upon what they have read.

Writing- We will be starting a new writing unit; Opinion Writing. The students will learn how to take a stance on what they believe on a topic of interest.

Math- The students will be learning measurement. We will quickly review non-standard measurement (using paperclips etc) and then move on to measuring using centimeters and inches.
