Week of February 22nd
Week of February 22, 2016
Reading- We will review and discuss other biographies using “Reader’s Theater.” In doing this, the students learn about parts of a play and the roles involved. They break out into small groups and read/act out the play on their own.
Writing- We will be completing our Biography writing unit this week. Students will be editing and revising their work before they write their final draft.
Math- The students will continue to learn how to multiply and divide using word problems. They will work on solving problems and explaining their solutions.
Social Studies- In Social Studies, we will continue to learn about how New York City changed over time. We will focus on landmarks within our city and how they looked then and now.
Science- We will continue to learn about Force and Motion. We will focus on how things move and what makes them move. We will discuss push and pull.
#12-15 which are sight words.

March 2nd is Read Across America Day! Pajamas!!
March 3rd is Parent/Teacher Conferences.
